As some of you know, I´m going to Japan on a Bonsai-trip in late march. This will be my first trip there so I´m very excited, though I don´t really know what to visit yet. A great help in the plannig process is the really good guide at http://www.bonsaiempire.com/origin/bonsai-japan . I´ve decided on a guided tour which include the Bonsai museum at Saitama, the gardens at Omiya and to top it off, the gardens of Kimura and Kobayashi. I will also be going to Kyoto and a few temlpes an Bonsai gardens near Kyoto. It would be nice to include a trip to Nagano to visit Shinji Suzuki but I haven´t decided yet.

Any input as to what to see is appreciated.

As far as my own Bonsai go, they´re very much asleep right now. Around 0 degrees centigrade and rain/snow.
